We are a friendly hiking group based in Hong Kong who do regular free weekly hikes, all over Hong Kong. Our hikes have varying degrees of difficulty, so please take a moment of your time to read the information on this website before joining a hike. Sat, Sept 19, 2026: Junk Bay Walk
This evening walk will take us via the Lei Yue Mun Path, home to various monuments, Wilson Trail Stage 3 & Junk Bay Chinese Permanent Cemetery. We'll take it nice and easy watching the sun set as we head to our final destination of the Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park, where we can enjoy drinks and dinner.

Meeting Point: 4pm @ Yau Tong MTR, Exit A2 Note: This hike is on a Saturday!

Sat, Sept 26, 2026: Shau Kei Wan Harbourfront Walk
Our final Saturday evening walk is a nice pleasant stroll along the HK Island harbourfront. We'll start at Shau Kei Wan and head in the direction of Kennedy Town as the sun goes down and stop when we've had enough. The walk takes us through Quarry Bay promenade, the relatively new East Coast Boardwalk and the glass observation deck at North Point. We'll also pass the Fireboat Alexander Grantham, a retired 1953 firefighting vessel which is docked on a landscaped deck at Quarry Bay Park promenade. Once we have decided on our endpoint we will find somewhere for dinner and drinks.

Sun, Oct 4, 2026: Luk Keng to Tai Mei Tuk
We will get the mini bus or a taxi to Luk Keng Village where the walk starts. We will follow a trail that has lots of shade towards our end point at Tai Mei Tuk for a nice dinner before heading home via Tai Po MTR.

As the weather may still be on the warmer side, please bring plenty of water. You can buy water at Luk Keng.

Sun, Oct 11, 2026: Ho Pui to Sham Tseng
We'll take the mini bus to Ho Pui and then follow the water catchment path towards Tai Lam Chung Reservoir. Before reaching the reservoir we'll take a left turn and follow the trails to Tsing Fai Tong and then Sham Tseng for second lunch. We'll be on unpaved but proper trails about half the time and paved the other half. Expect a few hills but nothing serious and mostly shady.
