Welcome to Roz Hiking.

We are a friendly hiking group based in Hong Kong who do regular free weekly hikes, all over Hong Kong. Our hikes have varying degrees of difficulty, so please take a moment of your time to read the information on this website before joining a hike. STAGE THREE - PAK KUNG AU TO NGONG PING
Start: Take ferry to Mui Wo and then bus to Tung Chung (or MTR to Tung Chung and bus to Tai O or Mui Wo). Get off the bus just before the top of the hill (towards Tung Chung) where you see the notice board with the Lantau Trail map.

End: From the Big Buddha you can catch a bus to Mui Wo ferry or Tung Chung MTR

Time: 2.25 hours

Difficulty: Steep up to Lantau Peak and then steep down stone steps to the Big Buddha. Climbing about 600m up and down (Lantau Peak is 934 m above sea-level)

Times are estimates only.

One star denotes the easiest walks with 3 stars being the most difficult. Difficulty levels are not an exact science and will differ based on your own hiking experience / fitness level. Please read our Hiking, Health & Safety section before doing any of these hikes. Thank you.
